Spitfire
The Spitfire has a dual tapered head, a short reverse taper and a longer forward taper, along with a concave (scooped) face. It is one of the easiest lures to rig and run and will work well in all sea conditions. It can be run in any position in the lure spread and the small size also makes a great shotgun lure.
The Spitfire is a very versatile lure and will catch all game fish species including Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo and all Tuna species.
The small size Spitfire is also a great lure to run in combination with a rigged deadbait such as a Ballyhoo, Flying Fish or Mackerel.
The scooped face and tapered head give this lure a classic ‘pop and dive’ action. It will throw a lot of spray when it ‘pops’ at the surface and then dives with a controlled head shake action.
