Hogshead
The Hogshead has a short barrel shaped head with a straight face. It is a simple lure to rig and run and will work well in all sea conditions.
It can be run in any position in the lure spread and the small size also makes a great shotgun lure.
The Hogshead is a very versatile lure and will catch all game fish species including Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo and all Tuna species. Just pick the size to match the prevalent bait and intended target species.
The small size Hogshead is also a great lure to run in combination with a rigged deadbait such as a Ballyhoo, Flying Fish or Mackerel.
The broad flat face creates a lot of spray as the lure surfaces and it will dive and run below the surface leaving a huge smoke trail.
All Hogshead lures are available with a choice of HARD or SOFT heads and with a choice of head colours - Black, White, Purple, Blue or Green.
