HardPlay Special
The HardPlay Special has a distinct forward taper to the head and a concave (scooped) face. It is one of the easiest lures to rig and run and will work well in all sea conditions.
It can be run in any position in the lure spread but works best from the riggers. The small size also makes a great shotgun lure.
The HardPlay Special is a very versatile lure and will catch all game fish species including Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo and all Tuna species. Just pick the size to match the bait and target species.
The small size HardPlay Special is also a great lure to run in combination with a rigged deadbait such as a Ballyhoo, Flying Fish or Mackerel.
The scooped face and tapered head gives this lure a straight running ‘pop and dive’ action. It will throw a lot of spray when it ‘pops’ at the surface and when it dives it carries with it an incredibly long and dense smoke trail of fine bubbles.
